Maharashtra: Brothers drown in dam while taking selfie

Nashik: Two brothers drowned in a dam while posing for a selfie, police said here on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as engineering student Harshal Devidas Jadhav (22) and Ritesh (18), a 12th grader.

According to police, the siblings along with their cousin Bhavesh, had come to attend a wedding ceremony at the Nimshevadi village.

Post the event, the trio headed to the Bori dam and posed for a selfie when the two siblings lost their balance and fell into the dam while Bhavesh collapsed out of trauma.

Subsequently, the locals rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies. A case of sudden death has been filed into the matter, police told. (UNI)
