Sangli: A young couple committed suicide by hanging themselves on Friday, the tragic incident took place at Rajewadi village in Atpadi tehsil of this district.
It is believed that the two were heartbroken at the death of their two year-old daughter hence they took this extreme step.
As per the Atpadi police, the deceased couple were identified as Karan Nana Hegade(28) and his wife Shital(22), both residents of Rajewadi village.
Their two year-old daughter had passed away recently due to some throat infection.
Police rushed to the spot after received information and are investigating the incident further. (UNI)
