Maharashtra: Minor girl kills, then beheads woman in cold blooded murder for insulting her infront of friends

Mumbai/Chandrapur: With the detention of a female juvenile the Chandrapur district police claimed to have solved the mystery of the cold blooded murder of a woman aged 20-22 the police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Chandrapur Atul Kulkarni told this correspondent that the police were hunting for the accomplice of the juvenile, who assisted her in the conspiracy and killing and beheading the victim and stripping her.

He said that the entire probe in the gruesome murder was conducted by the Local Crime Branch and Cyber cell of the district police, under the total guidance of the District Superintendent of Police Arvind Salve.

He further said that it was in the small hours of April 04,2022 within the limits of the Badravati police station on the Badravai to Telvasa road behind a school the body of victim without the head and totally naked was found. Her head had been chopped off and taken away by the unidentified accused.

An offence under sections 302 and 201 of the IPC was then registered with the Badravati police station.

The police probe team in the absence of any lead checked up the missing persons information in the district and surrounding districts but in vain.

Later three teams were formed to solve the mystery of the murder and the teams worked on the intelligence and technical inputs and came to know that the victim resided in Ramtek in Nagpur. The police reached the family and confirmed about the identity of the victim.

Later during interrogation it was revealed that the victim resided with the juvenile and both quarreled frequently over the issue that the victim insulted the juvenile infront of their friends.

Hence to teach the victim a lesson the juvenile along with her friend hatched a conspiracy and called the victim on April 03, to the Varora Naka at around 8.45 p.m. Then the three travelled in the motorcycle. Then at an isolated place at around midnight the juvenile pushed the victim on the ground and stabbed her on her thighs.

Later they sat on her chest and strangulated and slit her throat and killed her. And also they chopped of her head and took it away after stripping her totally to conceal her identity the police said.
