Main Accused in Abhishek Gupta Murder case Pooja Pandey nabbed

The main accused in the sensational murder case of TVS Bike showroom owner Abhishek Gupta has been arrested by police. Mahamandleshwar Pooja Shakuntala pandey, accused of orchesterating the killing by hiring contract killers, was taken into custody today following weeks of evading arrest.

According to police reports, Gupta, a resident of Kachora in the Sikandra Rao area of Hathras district and the owner of a TVS motorcycle showroom in Khair (Aligarh), was shot dead on September 26 by assailants on a motorcycle at Khereshwar Chauraha.

A case had been filed against Pooja Pandey, her husband Ashok Pandey, and two unidentified persons in connection with the murder. Police had already arrested and sent Ashok Pandey, along with the two contract killers, Fazal and Asif from Nibari Mod, to jail.

However, Pooja Pandey had been on the run since the incident. A non-bailable warrant had been issued against her, and a cash reward of Rs 50,000 was announced for any information leading to her arrest. According to the police, she had traveled from Aligarh to Ghaziabad on the night of the murder and then proceeded to Haridwar to avoid arrest.

After several attempts to apprehend her, police finally succeeded after nabbing her from Bharatpur district of Rajasthan on Agra-Jaipur highway on Saturday. ASP Mayank Pathak confirmed Pooja Pandey’s arrest and stated that she is currently being interrogated. Further investigation is underway to uncover more details about the motive and planning behind the murder.<>
