Main accused of Junaid’s lynching case arrested

New Delhi: Days after a Muslim teen Junaid died after he was stabbed to death on-board a Delhi-Mathura train in Ballabgarh, the railway police today arrested the main accused from Maharashtra's Dhule area. According to sources, Railway Police apprehended the main accused from the Dhule area of Maharashtra and during interrogation, he has confessed to have stabbed Junaid and his friends. The name of the accused was not revealed by the officials due to legal issues. 

Earlier, five people were arrested by the police, including a Government employee in connection with this case. The incident took place on June 22, when Junaid and his brothers were returning to their home after Eid shopping in Delhi. (UNI)
