Man slits woman's throat for rejecting his love proposal in Telangana

Hanamkonda: A 23-year-old woman was allegedly attacked by a man with a knife for rejecting his love proposal at Gandhinagar here on Friday.

The woman hailing from Laknepally of Narsampet Mandal in this district was studying MCA final year in Kakatiya University and staying in Gandhinagar.

The accused Azhar has proposed his love to her. However, she spurned it. Azhar visited her house on Friday and proposed his love to the woman once again.

When she rejected it, the infuriated Azhar attacked her with a knife and slit her throat.

Locals who noticed her lying in a pool of blood shifted the woman to MGM hospital here for treatment.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added. (UNI)
