Maoists' training camp demolished in Bihar

Nawada: A joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district police demolished Maoists training camp after their fierce gun battle with outlaws under Kauakol police station area in the district in the wee hours today.

Police said here that extremists of outlawed CPI (Maoist) fired at the police team when security forces cordoned off their hideout following a specific intelligence input. Police personnel also returned the fire forcing extremists to retreat from the spot.

A Maoists' training camp at the spot was also demolished by the security forces. Police recovered naxal literature and other incriminating objects from the spot. A massive manhunt is on to nab extremists, police added. (UNI)
