Mohsin Raza breaks ice for Muslims in UP BJP Government

Lucknow: Appointment of cricketer Mohsin Raza as the Minister of State in the BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh today has at last proved the slogan of 'Sabaka Saath, Sabaka Vikas' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Raza, who had joined the BJP some years back and was a common face in the TV channels in the debate, held just a small post the in organisation and was not a member of any house.

A native of Lucknow, who had represented the state in cricket, has surprised everyone when he took the oath on the name of 'Ishwar' and not 'Allah.' Along with Mohsin there is another yester year Indian cricketer and opener Chetan Chauhan in the council minister. Chauhan, who opened the Indian innings with little master Sunil Gavaskar, was a two time MP and this time he won the assembly elections from Amroha district.
