MP from Dadra Nagar Haveli found dead in Mumbai hotel, suicide suspected

Mumbai: A Lok Sabha MP from Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Mohan S. Delkar was found dead in a Mumbai hotel room on Monday morning, police sources said here.

58-years-old MP was the leader of the Bharatiya Navshakti Party. He was a farmer by profession.

The cause of death is under investigation but the preliminary cause of death is suspected to be suicide the sources said.

Police are investigating when and why he arrived in Mumbai and checked into a south-Mumbai hotel where his body was recovered this morning.

His body has been sent for post mortem while further details are awaited, the sources further added. (UNI)
