Mumbai: Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, arrested on October 3, following a raid by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) at an international terminal for a Mumbai-Goa cruise, on Monday moved for a bail before the sessions court challenging the magistrate court order which had denied him freedom, on Friday last.

The court fixed October 13 as the date of hearing the plea.

Khan's fresh bail application came up for hearing before the Special NDPS Judge V V Patil, in which beside challenging the magistrate courts order, Khan submitted that no drugs were found in his possession and that he has no association with any of the alleged actions of the other accused persons in the case and is not connected to them in any way.

Advocate Satish Maneshinde appearing for Khan argued that his client is in judicial custody and investigation has been completed in the case hence he should be released on bail.

However, the NCB lawyer sought time to file a reply to the plea which has been adjourned for hearing on October 13. (UNI)
