Nashik: Maharashtra police have arrested an impersonator who cheated many people here by wearing the uniform of his wife who is a police officer.
Police said the fake police officer cheated in many places in Nashik city.
After nine months of chase, police arrested the fake police officer identified as Sagar Pawar. Pawar was using the uniform of his wife, who is a sub-inspector.
Police said that he was using his wife's uniform to pretend to be a sub-inspector himself. Pawar was absconding for nine months. The police finaly laid a trap based on technical analysis and arrested Sagar.
