Aurangabad/Mumbai: Maharashtra Minorities Affairs Minister Nawab Malik on Monday accused the BJP of gaining political mileage from the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
He alleged that the rein of investigation into the sensational crime was handed over to the CBI as the BJP was contesting polls in Bihar from where the late actor hailed.
“A conspiracy was hatched to discredit Maharashtra government by forwarding the case to the CBI,” asserted Mr Malik, also NCP spokesman.
“While the Mumbai police was investigating the suicide of Rajput, the Bihar government had registered the case for political reasons,” he added.
“A year has passed into the probe, now the CBI should tell the public who are the killers,” he remarked. (UNI)
