Lucknow : True secularism, is it? Yes, you can say in a way!

Newly elected chief minister and fire-brand politician Yogi Adityanath has broken a political tradition. On the occasion of Eid, the chief minister of UP, with a massive Muslim population, refused to say, Eid Mubarak!

UP CM's have been visiting Aishbagh Eidgah on this day traditionally. Yogi Adityanaht gave it a miss and this long tradition came to a halt. However, the governor Ram Naik, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma and former CM Akhilesh Singh Yadav went to Eidgah to congratulate people on the festival of Eid.

That’s not all, Yogi Adityanath also denied to organize a single Iftar party during the Ramzaan. According to the previous tradition, the CM used to organize an Iftar party once in the CM office. Besides, Yogi Adityanath was also an absentee in the Iftar party organized on 23rd June at Raj Bhavan. Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma represented Yogi in that party along with other ministers.
