New Delhi: The Government today increased the price of non-subsidised cylinder by Rs 86, but consumers receiving subsidised gas have been spared. The Rs 86 hike in price of non-subsidised cylinder is in line with the rise in global LPG product prices. ‘’There will be no net impact of the increase on the LPG consumers receiving subsidised refills,’’ the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said.

For example, consumers will pay Rs 737 for a new refill in Delhi and will receive subsidy amount of Rs 303 in their account and the net price for the consumer will be Rs 434, which remains unchanged. (UNI)
