New Delhi: A Pakistani citizen and father of a two-and-a half-month-old infant's father has thanked External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for assuring him about the issuing of media Visa for his kid's treatment in India. "It is heartening to see humanity prevailing despite the many differences. Thank you all for your efforts. Humanity prevails! God Bless everyone!" Ken Sid tweeted after Ms Swaraj responded positively to his request for a visa for his child.
Earlier, upon reading a missive in the Twitter from Ken Sid, the External Affairs Minister assured that his son would be be given treatment. "Why my bud suffers for medical treatment!! Any answers Sir Sartaaj Azeez or Ma'am Sushma??," Ken had tweeted yesterday. Responding to him, Ms Swaraj, already lauded for giving a push what is called the Twitter diplomacy, wrote:
"No. The child will not suffer. Pls contact Indian High Commission in Pakistan. We will give the medical visa". The Indian High Commission in Islamabad in its Twitter handle also advised Ken stating: "Please send us your passport number if visa application already submitted; otherwise call on 00923028569733".
