Chennai, Feb 16 (UNI) So finally Tamilnadu gets a Chief Minister. And it will be Edappadi Palaniswamy to take the charge.
Ending the more than ten-day long political uncertainty in the State following the power struggle within the ruling party, Tamil Nadu Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao today appointed AIADMK Legislature Party (LP) leader Edappadi Palaniswamy as the Chief Minister and invited to form the next government at the earliest. After a 45-minute meeting at the Raj Bhavan, the Governor invited him to form the Ministry at the earliest and also asked him to seek a vote of confidence in the State Assembly within 15 days.
