Srinagar:Panic gripped in down town Srinagar on Saturday after some devotees found a body in a mosque early this morning, official sources said.They said a group of devotees entered a mosque at Zadibal area in the down town Srinagar to offer morning (Fajr) prayers.
However, police was immediately informed, they said adding the body was taken away by the police for identification. Sources said the deceased was identified as Abdul Qayoum Khan, a resident of Gilikadal Zonimar.
The cause of his death was not known, they said adding police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.(UNI)
