Patna: Thirteen accused have been arrested in connection with stone-pelting at the convoy of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday, SSP Patna said.
Official sources said here that the convoy of the Chief Minister Kumar was on the way to Gaya on Sunday when locals agitated over the killing of a youth, attacked it with lathis and also pelted stones, damaging four vehicles.
The convoy was proceeding from Patna to Gaya, for use by Kumar who would visit the district on Monday for an official programme.
The agitated locals were protesting on the road with the body of the youth, who had been missing for the past few days and his body was recovered on Sunday. (Inputs from agencies)
