New Delhi: Days after his party's poor show in MCD polls, Aam Aadmi Party Convenor Arvind Kejriwal today admitted that they have made mistakes and said the party will "introspect" and "correct" it. "In the last two days, I have spoke to many volunteers and voters. The reality is obvious. Yes, we made some mistakes but we will introspect and correct. Time to go back to drawing board.
To not evolve would be silly. We owe that to voters and volunteers. We woe that to ourselves," Mr Kejriwal said in his message posted on Twitter. The Delhi Chief Minister also said that "Need is action and not excuses. It's time to get back to the work." "Even if we slip from time to time, the key is to find the reserves to hold and pull ourselves up. The people deserve nothing less. The only thing constant is change," he stated. AAP, which rode to power in Delhi by winning 67 out of 70 Assembly seats managed to win only 48 seats out of 270 wards in MCD elections. (UNI)
