Prayagraj: Two tents catch fire in Kumbh area, no loss of life reported

Prayagraj: Two tents were burnt after the Gorakhnath Dham in Kumbh Nagar area caught fire in this district of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday.

Materials kept inside the tents were also gutted in fire.

The grand Gorakhnath Dham of ‘Nath’ group is located in Sector-15, near the Old GT Road.

Upon receiving information, three vehicles of the fire brigade deployed in the fair area reached the spot and managed to douse the fire.

There were no reports of any casualty in the incident.

Reasons behind the incident are yet to be ascertained.

Reportedly, five different areas in the vast premises of the fair had caught fire on several occasions, though none of the incidents led to any casualties. (UNI)
