Prez, PM congratulate ISRO scientists on the successful launch of SCATSAT-1 satellite

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated ISRO scientists on the successful launch of PSLV-35 and advanced weather satellite SCATSAT-1 and seven other co-passenger satellites. "Hearty congratulations to ISRO on successfully launching PSLV-C35 carrying SCATSAT-1 & 7 co-passenger satellites," the President tweeted.
 

PM Modi said, "Moment of immense joy & pride for India. Congratulations to @isro on successful launch of PSLV-C35/SCATSAT-1 & 7 co-passenger satellites". "Our space scientists keep scripting history. Their innovative zeal has touched the lives of 125 crore Indians & made India proud worldwide," he said. Creating yet another milestone, the ISRO today successfully demonstrated its multiple burn technology, when PSLV-C35 in a precise mission injected SCATSAT-1 and seven other co-passenger satellites in two different orbits for the first time.
