New Delhi: No candle march, no Jantar Mantar protest, no nothing, and nobody is even surprized on this show of selective seculasrism! This is India for you, friends!
The sheer silence maintained by the liberal community on Basirhat riots has drew flack from Twitterati though. A Facebook post uploaded by a 11th class student had sparked tension in an Muslim dominated area and a mob of thousand peoples vandalized shops and created a rukus. 
 
One life has been claimed in the riot, but the incident has not been able to make space in TV debates except for few true secular channels. Here is how anguished twitteratis expressed their disgust on this brazen hypocrisy. (WD)
