Punjab: Woman & child die after being hit by train in Moga

Moga: An unidentified woman and her child died after being hit by a train near Bhimnagar in the district.
 
According to GRP, on the occasion of 'Ram Lalla's Pran Pratistha', deepamal was being lit in temples everywhere on Monday late evening, when the said woman and her child met with an accident.
 
The age of the deceased woman is said to be around 40 years, while the child is said to be three months old.
 
The woman died on the spot after being hit by the train, while the child died in the hospital.
 
A person who went to save these two was also seriously injured, who was referred from Moga to Faridkot hospital for treatment.
 
The bodies of the deceased woman and child have been kept in the mortuary of Moga Civil Hospital and further action will be taken only after the arrival of the family members.
