BJP seeks reply from Rahul over Congress accepting donation from Zakir's foundation

New Delhi: Slamming the Congress for allegedly accepting a donation from Islamic preacher Zakir Naik's NGO through the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, the BJP today accused the grand old party of taking 'commission' from organisations which are supporting terrorists.

Addressing a news conference here, BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma said, "Congress has now started taking money from those organisations who support terrorists." Mr Sharma termed the Rs 50 lakh donation given to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in 2011 by Zakir Naik's NGO Islamic Research Foundation as an insult to the country and those who laid down their lives for the nation.
