Ranchi Pocso court awards life imprisonment to four minor gang rape convicts

Ranchi: A Pocso cum children court awarded life imprisonment to four minor convicts in a gang rape case.

In the same case earlier, the juvenile court had released two other accused who were less than 16 years of age. The family members were made to furnish bonds of Rs 10,000 each and were warned not to indulge in any such act in future.

On April 30, 2018 in Chanho a minor girl was gang raped by six minor boys. The victim had alleged that when she had stepped out of her home for toilet the culprits had forcibly taken her to a field and gang raped her. (UNI)
