Coimbatore: The three-day 'Akhila Bharathiya Pratinidhi Sabha' (National Council meet) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today expressed grave concern over the unabated rise in violence by Jehadi elements in West Bengal and urged the state government to provide safety and security to Hindus and the Centre to monitor their safety in West Bengal.

Addressing a press conference after concluding the meet, RSS All India Joint General Secretary Dattathreya Hosabele, All India Media Relations incharge Manmohan Vaidya, RSS Kerala and Tamil Nadu president Vanniarajan said the meet has discussed the issue and passed the resolutions against the West Bengal government, which encourage the anti-national elements due to its Muslim vote bank politics.

Elements and growing incidents of attack on security forces in the state are posing challenge to national security and law and order. Hindus are also being attacked by them at Katwa, Kaligram, Ilambazar and Meitaburuj (Kolkatta) and they are forced to flee from the border areas. (UNI)
