New Delhi: A day after Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit made remarks against Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat, BJP today stepped up attack against the Congress and said there has been a pattern on part of the principal opposition party to "demoralise" the Army and security forces.
"No less than Sonia Gandhi should come out," BJP Spokesperson and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told reporters here. "They seem to be following a determined part to weaken the Army," Ms Sitharaman said, even as another party Spokesman GVL Narasimha Rao said there is "track II politics," being practiced by the Congress to side with the Pakistan Army.
