New Delhi: The Supreme Court today dismissed a plea filed by the Non-Governmental Organisation, Common Cause, seeking a probe into the IT raids on Sahara and Birla in which certain politicians name came. The politicians included the former Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, who is now the Prime Minister.

The Apex Court said that there was not enough conclusive evidence to order an inquiry. A bench, headed by Justice Arun Mishra and also comprising Justice Amitava Roy, passed the order after a detailed hearing from Common Cause and Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi. (UNI)
