SC asks trial court to take action against Sasikala in DA case

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today upheld the conviction of AIADMK general secretary Sasikala Natarajan in the Disproportionate Assets case. Quashing the Karnataka High Court order which acquitted Natarajan, the court upheld the trial court's judgment convicting her in the 21-year-old case. It asked the trial court to take necessary action in the case. (UNI)
