Srinagar: A senior separatist leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan was today arrested from Srinagar airport when he was leaving for New Delhi to attend Pakistan Day tomorrow. Official sources said that Khan, leader of hardline Hurriyat Conference (HC), was scheduled to leave for New Delhi today.
However, he was arrested at the airport, they said. A spokesman for the National Front (NF) told UNI that chairman Khan was to attend Pakistan Day function in Pakistan Embassy at New Delhi tomorrow. (UNI)
