Shimla Police arrests two smugglers with 3 leopard skins

Shimla: Shimla police have recovered three skins of leopard and arrested two persons from New Shimla.

A case related to the smuggling of the wildlife protection act has been registered. Besides three skins, police have also recovered the teeth and nails of the leopards from the spot. The cost of these skins and other parts amounts to lakhs of rupees.

Of the two arrested alleged smugglers one person is from Chopal in Shimla district of HP and the other is a resident of Uttarakhand.

The police have registered a case and further investigation has been started. (UNI)
