Police said the accused made the woman, who joined the hotel as a trainee six months ago, drink the liquor on that night and later they sexually abused her.

The woman, resident of PM Palem area on the outskirts of the city, developed friendship with Sridhar. On June 4, she was dropped by the hotel cab at PM Palem after finishing her duty at 2300 hrs. Worried by his threats, the woman joined him in the car and they reached the hotel in the early hours after consuming liquor at another hotel. Police was investigating whether the accused mixed any sedative in the liquor. The victim in her complaint said that she was still in a state of shock. ''When she woke up the next morning, the woman realised she had been sexually assaulted," a senior police Officials said. (UNI)
