Badaun: A pregnant woman was allegedly raped by some unidentified men in Kachhala village under Ujhani area here on Friday.Senior superintendent of police Chandra Prakash here on Saturday said that a woman of Kachhala village was allegedly gang-raped by some unidentified men when she had gone to relieve herself in the field. The accused had tied her hands and feet and raped her, he added.
When the woman did not return home after a long time, her family started searching for her and they found her in unconscious state near field at a secluded area, Mr Prakash said. Victim was rushed to the district hospital from where she was referred to Bareilly hospital for further treatment, he said adding that a case has been registered on complaint of her relatives and manhunt was launched to nab the accused.(UNI)
