Stampede in Indore!

Indore (WD). Monday evening sudden torrential rain caused almost a stampede in Indore during a high profile program. Nobody could see it coming.
 
Indore is declared the cleanest city in India. To celebrate this success, a Pranam Indore program was organised in Deshhara Maidan. Union Minister Venkaiyyah Naidu, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan were present in the function.
 
But a sudden torrential rain caused havoc there suddenly there were chaotic scenes. One Pandal also collapesed and few people strangled underneath it. Though no one is seriously injured, but many received bruises.

Senior leader Krishna Murari Moghe leader was one of those who strangled underneath the Pandal and it was hard to get him out of it.
 
Close to 20000 people were present in this function but sudden rain and hailstrom messed up the scene. Women and children were also present there in large numbers and the hiccup could have proven worse!
