Vijayawada: The police announced a Rs 2 lakh reward to those who provided information about the accused, who hurled stones at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the Chief Minister while he was addressing a roadshow at Singh Nagar on Saturday night, in which he suffered an injury to the forehead.
The police announced a Rs 2 lakh reward to those who provided information, including video footage, CCTV footage, or photos, leading to the arrest of the accused.
The police also promised to keep secret the details of those who provided information. The witness can approach K Srinivasa Rao, DCP, NRT police commissioner, or R Sriharibabu ADCP Task Force to give information directly, the police said in a statement here on Monday.
