New Delhi: After relentless efforts launched by External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj, Indian officials in Saudi Arabia were able to reach out to over 10,000 Indians in distress who were facing starvation after being laid off by their employers

The distressed families finally got some reprieve after the Indian consulate distributed more than 16,000 kilograms of relief food to them. "Indian Consulate and Indian Community Jeddah food stuff distribution mission accomplished at 0245 hrs this morning. Kudos to all," the Indian consulate in Jeddah today said in a series of tweets.
