Nizamabad: Thieves stole cash and gold, worth Rs 3 crore from Grameena Bank, Bussapur, Mendora Mandal in this district.
The incident occurred on Saturday night and it came to light on Monday due to a holiday on Sunday.
Police said the thieves entered the bank by cutting its shutter with a gas cutter. Later, they broke open lockers with a gas cutter and stole Rs 7 lakh cash and pledged gold ornaments, all worth about 3 crore.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added. (UNI)
