Yes, you heard it right! Ten rupees coin can send you jail! But only when you refuse to accept it.

And to make it easier, it is not universal rule either.

A district officer of Mathura has issued this ruling that if any shopkeeper refuse to accept ten rupees coin, he can be jailed for it.

Same ruling also applies to the banks!
