Jammu: Police have arrested a terrorist, who had crossed to Pakistan to get arms training, when he entered into the Indian Territory, from Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. "Nisar Shah of Budhal, Rajouri had illegally crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in 1999 and joined a militant training camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)," police sources here today said.
They said during training, he had got ill and was admitted in Kotli hospital of PoK, adding, "after some time, he left the training camp and worked as a servant at a garment store." Sources said that he later worked at a medical shop in Kotli, adding, "in Kotli, he got connected to people, who helped him prepare his fake documents (migration card, identity cards, passport and visa) for Dubai."
Police said Shah stayed in Dubai for three years (2010 to 2013) and after his visa expired, he returned to the PoK. "Then, he prepared a tourist visa of Nepal, from where he entered into India and reached his village in Rajouri yesterday, but was arrested," they said. A case has already been registered against him. He was arrested and will be produced before a court, they added. (UNI)
