In the ongoing UP election, SP MP and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple Yadav, also known as Bhabhi jee, has arguably caught the fancy of voters. Dimple has already addressed a lot of public rallies in this election and has emerged a star pracharak for SP, a face that brings people to the rally grounds.
It was evidend in Azamgarh rally, which is known as the bastion of SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. People were chanting her name and it had to be announced from the stage that "Your dear Bhabhi jee is arriving shortly, plz keep quite!"
Dimple had done election promotion for SP even in 2012, but this time her stakes have clearly risen. Though she still reads the written speeches, it appears that she has been able to attract young and woment voters and have proven a handy support for her CM husband.
The way she has taken jibes on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has gone very well with the voters. Especially the way she said "Mere angane me tumhara kya kaam hai", obviously referring to Modi.
Dimple Yadav has clearly outshined Priyanka Vadra in these UP elections.
