Forget the loss in cricket! This Hindu family of Pakistan will give you reason to smile! (Video)

Still sad and mopey after the loss of CT17 final to Pakistan? The story of this Dabang Hindu family from Pakistan will make you smile at last!

In Pakistan, there is a Rajput aristocracy, which still rules the roost and even muslims make sure that never a finger is being raised on their sanctity.

It is said that this aristocratic family plays a key role in Pakistan politics. The late patriarch of the family Chandpal Singh used to be a part of "Pakistan Peoples Party". Later he made his own party and with sheer audacity named it "Pakistan Hindu Party". Chandpal Singh had been a close aide of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and later his daughter Benazir Bhutto. He also had been a Member of Parliament 7 times and Union Minister once. In 2004 when he died, then prime minister Saiyyad Raza Yusuf Gilani personally paid condolence.

This Royal family is based in Sind and nowadays Hammir Singh Sodha, the son of Chandpal Singh, calls the shots. The family originally belongs to Amarkot, Pakistan. The name of Amarkot is changed to Umarkot now, however Rana Hammir Singh and his family still exercise influence on it. They have a fair share of India connection too. Hammir Singh's wife Rani Sahiba Subhadra is from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. She is the daughter of Rawat Tej Singh of Rawatsar. Hammir Singh's daughter is married to a Royal Rajput family of Jaipur.

Interestingly, local Pakistanis adore this Dabang Hindu family. They believe that this family has its lineage from Raja Puru and they would do anything to protect them. This is the only Hindu family of Pakistan which is given the status of Raja and which enjoys such a clout. The family inevitably recieves threats of Islamic terrorist attacks, but they are protected by armed bodyguards. There are many more Rajpur families from Amarkot and Kanota, who are living a lavish life in Pakistan, if not enjoying the same influence as the Hammir Singh clan.
