Bengaluru: Three persons have been arrested by the police for allegedly raising 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans in the Karnataka Assembly corridors on February 27, police said on Monday.

The accused were arrested based on the Forensic Science Laboratory report, police said. Two are from Karnataka and another is from Delhi, police sources said.

Interestingly, the BJP claimed that the analysis of Clue4 Evidence Forensic Investigations, a private lab, indicated that the slogans raised were highly probable to be Pakistan Zindabad.

However, Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara said analysis done by the private lab cannot be considered and the government would find out who gave them permission to prepare the report and make it public.

Nevertheless, the home minister said action would be taken against those who raised the pro-Pakistan slogan at the assembly if the FSL report proves it.

On X, the BJP called IT Minister Priyank Kharge a troll minister.

"Mr Dynast Priyank, will you apologise for your shameless act? Will there be action against Liar-Knuklehead Fact-Checkers for normalising seditious statements?" BJP asked.

Responding to the BJP's allegations, Kharge sought to know the credibility of the Clue4 Evidence Forensic Investigation.

He also expressed his astonishment by asking whether the private lab downloaded the raw footage from the internet.
