Three months ban on strikes in UP Universities, Colleges

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government today imposed complete prohibition on strikes in Universities and colleges across the state for three months. Principal Secretary of Higher Education Jitendra Kumar gave this information here today.

He said that viewing public interest, state government had imposed ban on strike on Universities, their associate colleges and other affiliated colleges. He said ban strike was imposed under Essential Service Maintenance Act (ESMA). (UNI)
