Two held, old Rs 500, 1000 currency worth Rs 50 lakh seized

Bengaluru: CCB Police have arrested two people and seized old currency in the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 together about Rs 50 lakh from them. Police said that the arrested were identified as Ananad Jain and Vinayaka Prasad.
 

They were nabbed when they are trying to get converted the old notes they had into new one on commission basis. Their mobile phones were also seized. Ashoknagar Police have registered a case and investigating. (UNI)
