New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting UK Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel today discussed bilateral cooperation in the spheres of skill development, infrastructure financing, innovation, energy and ease of doing business. Mr Modi appreciated the follow up action taken on the outcomes of his successful visit to United Kingdom in November last year.
Ms Patel briefed the Prime Minister on the activities and future plans of her department in India. The Prime Minister congratulated Ms Patel on her appointment as Secretary of State for International Development and recalled her long association with India in her previous roles, and several visits to India, an official statement here said.(UNI)
