New Delhi: The Supreme Court today ordered that business baron Gopal Ansal would have to serve one year jail sentence out of which he had already served four months jail sentence in the Uphaar fire tragedy case, which claimed 59 lives.

A three-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Ranjan Gogoi, and also comprising Justices Kurian Joseph and Adarsh Kumar Goel, passed the order. The apex court, while partially allowing the Association of Victims of Uphaar Tragedy (AVUT) and CBI's review petition, said that the other brother Sushil Ansal's jail sentence has been undergone.
