Raebareli: A probationary officer of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) was shot dead by unidentified persons in Mill area here.
Police said Jaiprakash Pal (34), who was posted as the probationary officer at Deeh branch of the BoB, used to live in a rented house in Mill area. On Wednesday morning, Pal's landlord called the police and informed that that he was lying infront of the house in an unconscious state.
When the police reached the spot it found him dead. Pal was shot dead and the incident occurred around 2030 hours on Tuesday night, it said.
Superintendent of Police said CCTV footage has been recovered which is being checked. Four teams have been formed to investigate the case. (UNI)
