Cooch Behar: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a tour to North Bengal ahead of the coming Panchayat election, visited a local tea shop at Chalsa and enthusiastically tried her hand at preparing dumplings and brewing tea.
"It's heartwarming to spend time amidst the people of Bengal. Being a part of their lives is my biggest treasure, " Banerjee said.
"Following the public meeting in Cooch Behar today, I visited a local tea shop in Chalsa. I enthusiastically tried my hand at preparing dumplings and brewing tea, " she added.
"It was a sheer pleasure to witness the smiling faces of people all around, " she stated and humbly thanked them for their love and warmth.
"Spreading joy among one and all will always be my aim. Their happiness is my victory, " she further said. (UNI)
