WATCH: MoS Ajay Mishra gets angry at a question on SIT report on Lakhimpur

New Delhi/Lakhimpur: As opposition demanded sacking of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra after a report of the SIT probing the Lakhimpur incident said it was pre-planned, a video of the Minister that went viral showed him getting angry after being asked a question on the report.

The video has reportedly been shot at Lakhimpur Kheri, where the Minister was inaugurating an oxygen plant.

A journalist asked the Minister about the SIT report, which irked Mishra, and he asked the journalist to stop the video recording.

Opposition has been demanding to sack the Minister since the incident took place on October 3, in which four farmers and a journalist were killed after being run over by cars from the Minister's convoy. Three people from the Minister's convoy were also killed.

An SIT report has said it was a deliberate act and not of negligence. Ajay Mishra's son Ashish is one of the accused who have been arrested. (UNI)
