New Delhi : Journalist Smriti Aditya has brought laurel to the world’s first Hindi web portal Webdunia yet again. She has won the prestigious "Laadli Media Award" for the third time. She is the feature editor of Webdunia.
The 8th Laadli Media award for gender Sensitivity 2015-16 was organized at Chinmay Mission Hall in New Delhi. Smriti received this award for the Best feature category titled “Whatsapp groups, fake identity, razor blade, red chili powder and what not! Only to return home safely!” .
The chairperson of National Child commission Stuti Kakar presented this award to her. Smriti has been working with the Hindi Portal of Webdunia for the past 10 years. She writes constantly on the issues related to women. Earlier, she had received Ladli media award in year 2008-09 from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and in 2009-10 from former IPS Kiran Bedi.
